Gold Well Ltd is a UK company managing the restaurant chain ‘The Tea House’. In an effort to reduce costs, the owner attempted to source furniture and equipment for the restaurant via online marketplaces. With limited information on the suppliers, and concerns on the authenticity of the products, Zoe approached Sinowei to assist.

For the project with Gold Well Ltd in 2022, Sinowei was tasked with enhancing the procurement process for ‘The Tea House’ restaurant chain, focusing on efficiency, authenticity, and cost savings. Our objectives include:

Results
Starting with the team in Belfast, we worked with the client to go through all the requirements, target prices and timelines. Our Chinese colleagues in Belfast translated all the documentation to share with our team in Shanghai.
Due Diligence
From Shanghai, the team to reached out to our network of suppliers across China. Having identified three potential partners – with the client we selected a supplier – and proceeded to carry out an inspection of the goods with our appointed inspection partner in China.
Results
Sinowei organised the documentation, shipment, and delivery of goods to Gold Well in N.Ireland. The company has now engaged with Sinowei to source additional goods for the chain of restaurants.
